How To Make Your Own Charm Bag

Once you have chosen your amulets and stones, keep them in a charm bag. This will insure that the energy remains at its most powerful. You may even want to create different bags for different purposes.

You will need:

• 12 inches or 30cm square of your favourite material
• a length of cord approximately 40 inches or 1 metre long
• a dinner plate
• a pencil
• all your chosen charms.

Making a Charm bag Method:

Put the plate on the material, draw around it using the pencil and cut out the circle. Make holes at regular intervals around the circle, approximately 1 inch or 2.5 cm from the edge. Thread the cord through the holes and pull to form a pouch. While you do this visualise the luck you wish to make. Recite a spell for good fortune over the bag and place you lucky charms inside. Pull the cord tight and wrap it around the top and tie it securely. Think of the energies and symbolisms you put into the bag and place it at the head of your bed. Or, if you have a special place in your home where you meditate, pray or perform magic spells, you can put it there.

Lucky Charm: Turn a favourite piece of jewellery or key ring into a lucky charm with this spell. Hold the object in your writing hand. Sing, ‘Gods and goddesses come to me,’ then feel the energy building up in you. Allow it to flow into the object then visualise it making your dreams come true. . When you feel that the object is fully charged, seal it with the words:

‘Health I bring you;
Happiness too,
Wealth herein,
And all of you.’
